Face the Sun, Come Fall

Face the Sun (table lamp) and Come Fall (pendant lighting) is a series of origami lighting systems, inspired by the motion of flowers. Using Chinese lantern material rice paper as the main material, with X and Y pleats to fold the flowers, I try to depict the flowers bloom and fall during the seasonal change. Origami pleats are not only used as the form but also the light shade structure to let itself stand. With gradual colours, the series of works present phototropism and changes of colour between seasons.
